Trance hero John 00 Fleming shows DJsounds round his current DJ rider consisting of the CDJ-2000s, rekordbox and DJM-2000. On the stage at the Concorde 2 in Brighton before the start of his J00F sessions night, John shows us how he's playing off rekordbox and the CDJ's using Pro DJ Link. He stresses the importance of organising your set in rekordbox and how the DJM-2000 brings the whole system together. The transition from CD to USB can be quite a challenge but Jon tells us how the new CDJ's and rekordbox actually make it very easy.
We will be catching up with John for a more thorough, in depth chat shortly where he tells us just what is wrong with producer-DJs and the Trance scene.

"Last week I was in the studio playing sounds on the STAC and found a real interesting chord progression. In key of F I started on the iii chord, the awesome and very cool A minor chord and played an arpeggio on that using a sound Friday Night on the Yamaha Motif, then alternated with the A# major chord on the root mixed with the equally awesome D minor chord on the top of the chord mix, arpeggiating notes... creating this bed of harmonic conflict that begs to be resolved, and teasing more by going to the V chord, the C major, and then back to the first A minor progression... and finally breaking away into a chord progression on the MAJORS side of the song starting with F major using the I, IV, V pattern. Branched over into the minors at G minor (ii chord). I built the song in Logic Pro Studio on many tracks. It was awesome musical fun creating this new song."

Every year in March, the Miami fever reaches its curve. That month, the entire dance scene heads over to the sunny hotspot. Not only to enjoy some of the world's best parties and clubnights, but mostly to be part of the Winter Music Conference. Yearly, more than 60.000 visitors from 70 different countries head over to the WMC, making it one of the biggest dance happenings on the globe.
One of the most anticipated events during WMC, is the International Dance Music Awards show. For two years in a row, Armada Music received the much-wanted award for 'Best Global Record Label' and has been working hard to prolong this honorable title. Beady Eye played their first ever gig on 3rd March 2011 at Glasgow Barrowland. The band made a conscious decision to play their first date in the UK with Andy stating, "We're jumping in at the deep end."
As a thank you to the fans who came along and made it such a special night they've put together a short film.

In October 2010, Dutchman Mischa Daniels reached another milestone in his 9 years as a professional producer/DJ. With the release of his debut artist album 'Where You Wanna Go', he gave the global EDM-society a clear direction where to head off to -- straight to the dancefloor! Taken from this masterpiece which features only the finest of house sounds, he already scored sky-high chart positions with house smashers like 'Beats For You' and the album's title track 'Where You Wanna Go'.
As the third single release from 'Where You Wanna Go', Mischa's team up 'Child Of Love' with Dutch singer and songwriter Ivan Peroti a.k.a. I-fan is in the starting blocks of conquering your musical world. Delightful synths and catchy vocals go hand in hand with pure summer spirit. Mischa's 'Anthem Mix', on the contrary, takes you in with bold bass and tight sounds that'll get the dance society moving anytime.
On the remix, Mischa invited Dutch duo Simon and Daniel a.k.a. Solid Gaz to join the party. They dropped the tempo of 'Child Of Love's a bit, added some harder house beats and present you an outstanding prog-house-translation.
