For the 4th year running, Armin van Buuren is the number 1 DJ, and thus prolongs his title as 'Most popular DJ in the world'! As the first DJ in the history of the DJ Mag, the Dutch DJ is now the number 1 DJ for 4 years in a row.
Armin has had a great year so far, not only releasing his A State of Trance 2010 compilation, but also reaching the milestone of his fourth artist album, 'Mirage'. Following the Successful 2008 Double CD CYCLES and hot off the heels of a well received artist album, Max Graham returns to the mix compilation Arena with the next installment of his "Cycles" Brand. 2010 has seen two massive hit records "Sun in the Winter" and "Nothing Else Matters" from Graham's first Artist album "Radio" played by everyone from Above and Beyond, Markus Schulz to Armin Van Buuren (#1 on his June Chart) among many others. From this success came a new Radio show on DI.FM (Dance music's premier station, home of ASOT and GDJB) entitled "Cycles Radio" further cementing the "Cycles" brand as a go to name for the best in Progressive and Trance.
In Cycles 2 Graham showcases his programming skills with tracks from the likes of Arty, Estiva, Mat Zo, Mike Shiver, Protoculture, Mark Eteson as well as brand new tracks from Graham himself. Now in its fourth year the BPM show has gone from strength to strength. Kicking off in 2007 at Donnington race track and now at the gigantic Birmingham N.E.C. we were there this year showing off our brand new DJ speakers the S-DJ05 and S-DJ08. Aimed at the DJ at home these cabinets equipped with either a 5 or 8cm driver deliver a tight, well definied sound, fantastic for mixing. Also on show alongside the CDJ-2000 & DJM 2000, CDJ-850 were the gorgeous, new HDJ-500 headphones.
