BT - A Million Stars (Save The Robot Remix)
BlackHoleRecordings さんが 2011/06/03 にアップロード
BT announces "These Re-Imagined Machines" (Limited Collector's Edition Box Set)!
This set is the expanded super-duper deluxe edition from the forthcoming remix album These Re-Imagined Machines (Nettwerk/Black Hole), holding all the remixes that have been created after the release BT's GRAMMY®-nominated album for 2011's "Best Dance/Electronic Album," These Hopeful Machines (Nettwerk/Black Hole). There are over 60 tracks in total (many of them unreleased), and several high-definition music videos on three CDs and one DVD.
BT himself has, in true Laptop Symphony tradition, mixed all three CDs into full-length soundscapes, sometimes remixing the tracks from scratch! Disc three is exclusive to this set, as is the DVD, which contains the music videos and all 59 remixes as separate tracks! This limited set of 1,000 units only comes with numerous BT extras as described below.
Package includes:
1. 12.5" clamshell boxset, with see-through frosted plastic slipcase cover.
2. 32-page, 12" hard bound book, containing the best pictures and quotes from BT's Twitter account and travels to exotic locales around the world!
3. 12" x 72" poster of the original These Hopeful Machines painting by Aaron Jasinski.
4. BT logo sticker.
5. Three CDs, tracklisting as marked below.*
6. One DVD, tracklisting as marked below. **

BT Interview, Continued: Brian Transeau Loves Appalacian Bluegrass
gearwire | 2011年02月08日 |
In our continuing conversation with Brian Transeau (a.k.a. BT), Gino Robair asks the man behind iZotope Stutter Edit about his creative process. Specifically, how does he get down to writing when he's got all that excellent gear to distract him. One of the answers is: have a room that's basically a big "ergonomic mouse." Also, limitation is the key to inspiration.
BT also talks about his love of country music by way of discussing the writing process for Every Other Way off his Grammy-nominated These Hopeful Machines album. Bet you never thought of BT as a "folkie" before, huh?
