The Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special takes the traditional look, tone, and feel of a vintage Fender Jazzmaster and kicks it up a notch with some subtle modern enhancements. Among these are an Adjusto-matic bridge and improved neck pocket, allowing for better pitch and tuning stability, which is crucial when using the classic "floating" trem tailpiece. The Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special has also been bestowed with a set of Hot Jazzmaster Single Coil Pickups, which offer more output and fatter tone than vintage models, perfect for chunky power chords and fuzzed-out sustain. A 9.5" radius, 21-fret, rosewood fretboard is precisely married to a "C" shape maple neck, and the Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special's Alder body comes finished in black or 3-tone sunburst.
