This Fender FSR Ash Telecaster is a Factory Special Run, available only for a short time. It's distinctive characteristic is it's gorgeous, natural-finish Ash body. Ash is a classic tonewood, used on some of the earliest Telecasters, and is beloved by Tele enthusiasts for it's warmth and bright, bell-like upper harmonics. Other qualities of this Fender FSR Ash Telecaster include Hot Tele Single Coils, for vintage twang with a little extra punch, and a modern "C" neck with a tinted satin finish. This neck has a comfortable, broken-in feel with thoroughly modern playability, thanks in no small part to the 9.5" radius fretboard and 21 medium jumbo frets. Combining the best of the old and new, the Fender FSR Ash Telecaster can cover a lot of ground, from traditional blues and country to punk rock grind.
