Welcome to Hush, an Ibiza workers institution and massive with clubbers wanting underground House & Techno in San Antonio.
Described in their own words as "The Starship Enterprise" their DJ booth has an unbelievable set up of 1 x DJM-2000, 1 x DJM-800, 1 x EFX-1000 and no less than 4 x CDJ-2000s (all mounted on a custom sliding rail for easy access), This incredible set up allows total flexibility for the DJ's, who can either play on 4 decks on eaither mixer or b2b simultaneously over two set ups!
Jimi Deja, Technical manager at Hush walks us through the ingenious CDJ sliding rail set up, why the platter on a CDJ-2000 turns red when connected to a DJM-2000 (because it's "ON AIR"), his love for playing off USB and why at Hush they enforce a no laptop DJ policy!
